Filing Fees

Apart from the cost of an Online Divorce service, all the Plaintiff will have to pay when doing a DIY divorce is a court filing fee at the moment of filing for the divorce. In Pennsylvania, the filing fee is $150.

This fee is mandatory for all, unless the plaintiff is eligible to waive the fee due to the inability to pay. If the plaintiff cannot afford to pay, he or she has to provide their financial information as evidence and file a Petition to Proceed In Forma Pauperis.
